Welcome to ChooserKit (the “App”). ChooserKit helps groups decide who goes first using touch-based and random pickers (for example finger chooser, touch roulette, coin flip, and similar tools).
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
The App is designed to work without requiring an internet connection for its core features (choosing players, random picks, animations, and haptics).
We do not collect, store on our servers, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII), such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or analytics.
In short: we do not operate backend services that receive your personal data, and we do not send your usage or identity to our own servers.
The App requests only what is needed for its features on your device. It does not ask for access to contacts, photos, microphone, or location for ChooserKit’s core functionality.
Gameplay and UI state (for example active touches, temporary player labels, or current random outcomes) are processed on your device in memory during use. The App does not save a personal profile or account for you, and it does not sync this information to our servers.
If you uninstall the App or clear its app data (where the platform allows), any local app data the operating system may keep is removed according to your device settings.
In some places, the App may offer an optional link that opens an external website or app store listing (for example Apple App Store or Google Play) in your device’s browser or store app.
The App does not embed third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that track you across other apps or websites.
Because we do not collect or hold your personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf.
Any information shown while you use the App exists only for that session on your device unless the platform stores standard app data locally (for example cache). You can remove such data by uninstalling the App or clearing app storage in your device settings.
The App is not directed at collecting personal information from children. Because we do not collect personal data as described above, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children or minors.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time (for example if we add features such as cloud sync, accounts, or analytics). When we do, we will post the updated version and change the “Last updated” date above.
If changes materially affect how data is handled, we will take reasonable steps to inform users where required by law or app store rules.
